Hei hei! My name is Ingaa.
I am an artist working with acrylics, texture and mixed media on medium to large-scale canvases to create vivid, conversation-starting pieces. My paintings merge the transformational power of life and tranquility into visual experiences.
I am fascinated and unsettled by the impermanence that defines all life (and especially today’s fast-paced society): it is within this flux that I search for stillness — the paradox of change as the only constant, while aspiring for calm, stability and repose.
As a result, I am drawn to fragments: I try to capture fleeting moments — a face glimpsed in passing now dissolving into colour on canvas, animals in motion trapped in time between my brushstrokes. Recurring motifs include fish, flowers, geometric shapes and human traces. My practice is guided by observation, intuition and a fascination with transformation.
My paintings move between abstraction and organic elements in vivid colours. The goal is to capture the vibrancy of life while offering a moment of calm in an ever-changing world.
My mission is simple:
to offer a moment of pause, presence and beauty.

Originally from Bavaria, I studied German as a foreign language and Scandinavian studies in Munich and Tromsø before returning to what has always been my anchor: colour, form, and the act of creating.
Now I live and work between nature and city, exploring how colour, rhythm and touch translate emotion into form.
