hei, i’m ingaa - a contemporary artist exploring the relationship between the individual and the whole
to investigate this matter i use cycles: i work with serial painting and spatial works in which cycles function as both conceptual framework, formal principle, and mode of presentation. within this cyclical logic, i explore boundaries between end and beginning, and the way connections persist, shift, or are newly formed when works are reconfigured within a series or space.
my visual language develops through recurring forms, colour rhythms, and a consistent symbolic system that unfolds across a series. the sequence of works is intentional, yet resists linear resolution: rather than moving from origin to conclusion, each work exists in relation to what came before and what follows. endings become beginnings; completion becomes return.
at the centre of my practice is the negotiation of boundaries: between image and series, part and whole, individuality and collectivity. i am interested in how the individual dissolves into larger structures while still retaining traces of its autonomy – and how meaning emerges through repetition, recurrence, and relation rather than isolation.
ultimately, my practice understands art as cyclical rather than linear – a space where connection and meaning is not represented, but actively negotiated.

ingaa lives and works in munich and augsburg, germany. her practice spans acrylic painting, mixed media, and, increasingly, spatial installations. she develops serial visual systems informed by cyclical, symbolic, and relational structures. central to her work are questions concerning identity and interconnectedness: how does the individual position itself within the whole? how are both mutually constituted, and where do distinctions between them arise?
